How do I perform a successful scan?

How to Measure
Position Device Correctly
(only on iOS) If on iOS, firstly detect tire by moving device back and forth slowly (the camera should be pointing at the tire)
Align the tire overlay with the outer tire shoulder, keep approximately 20cm (pay attention to the audio or visual feedback)
Once aligned, start the scan by tapping anywhere on the screen
Move Device Slowly Across the Tire Tread
Move your device slowly and steady towards the inner tire shoulder, always keep a distance to the tire of approximately 20cm
The Scan will automatically stop after approximately 7 seconds; the device will vibrate strongly and make a sound once the scan is done.
Dos, Don’ts & Scanning Tips
Make sure that no other tires are visible in the scan, especially no tires should be directly next to or on top of each other
Turn on the audio to hear the distance feedback
Make sure to record the tread and not the floor, tilt your phone accordingly while scanning
Make sure that the screen orientation lock setting of your OS is not active
Make sure you have a stable internet connection
FAQs
I can’t use the Instant App, what could be the reason?
(iOS) You haven’t updated your OS for a while (iOS 17+ is mandatory)
(iOS) You are using a quite old iOS device (your device needs support the update to iOS 17+)
After using the Instant App, my session is lost, what could be wrong?
Make sure you are using the default browser for the application that is using the Instant App.
